Effective May 3rd 2012

As a team effort, Spectralux laboratory is the first accredited laboratory by NVLAP for the new test method IES LM-82-2012. 

Consequently Spectralux is recognized as a third party by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s to do testing for ENERGY STAR Program for the certification of Integral LED lamps and light engines as a function of temperature.

Spectralux laboratory has the necessary accreditations to perform the In-Situ Temperature Measurement Test (ISTMT) for purposes of qualification for the DesignLights Consortium (DLC)

On January 2012, Spectralux Laboratory scope of accreditation was updated to include life test measurements  on Fluorescent, High Intensity Discharge and Single-Ended Compact Fluorescent Lamps

 

Spectralux scope of accreditation now includes 58 test methods in various applications such as color measurements, electrical measurements, photometric measurements of lamps and luminaires.

 

This accreditation recognizes our excellent expertise for testing light emitting diodes (LED), incandescent, fluorescent, high intensity discharge lamps and indoor and outdoor luminaires.
